The authentication code generated by the authenticator app is produced by a third-party dynamic token tool, similar to SMS dynamic verification. Once bound, the app generates a dynamic verification code every 30 seconds. The code can be used for security verification when logging in, withdrawing funds, changing security settings, and other actions.
Steps in the App:
-
Open the homepage of the app, tap the profile icon in the top left corner to enter [Account & Security] — [Authenticator], then tap [Enable].
2. Download the authenticator app. BitKan supports Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator. Tap the corresponding icon on the page to be redirected to the download page. If you already have an authenticator app installed, simply tap [Next].
3. Copy the 16-character key and open Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. Use the key you just copied to add a new authenticator.
-
-
Google Authenticator: Tap the "+" button in the bottom-right corner, choose "Enter a provided key," and enter your BitKan account (mobile or email) and the copied Google key.
-
-
-
Microsoft Authenticator: Tap [Add Account] → [Other Account] → Scan the QR code or manually enter the key.
-
4. After completing Step 2, return to the BitKan app's identity verification binding page, tap [Next], then enter the [SMS Code] or [Email Code], and the [Authenticator Code] — tap [Submit] to complete the binding.
Note: Be sure to keep your private key safe to avoid losing access to your account if you change or lose your phone. For your account's security, withdrawals cannot be made within 24 hours after resetting Google Authenticator.
Friendly Reminder: When adding an account to the authenticator app, the account name can be customized, such as using "Login Account" or "Trading Platform + Account" for identification.
